WELCOME THE MONKEY KING TO
KIDSEUM!
OPEN HOUSE JUNE
15

Sunday, June
15
10AM – 4PM

Celebrate the
first ever special exhibition at Kidseum!  This
exciting exhibition is based on a classic Chinese story,
The Journey to the West, written in the 16th
century and loosely based upon the true journey along
the Silk Road of the Buddhist monk and scripture
pilgrim, Zuan Zang.  Experience the sights and
sounds of China at a dozen imagination-powered stations
as you try on Monkey’s costumes, learn to move like
Monkey using techniques from traditional Beijing Opera,
soar on a cloud with Monkey King, and learn about
heroism.  Monkey King: A Journey to China
is on exhibit at the Bowers Kidseum June 15 –
August 31, 2008.
