FEATURED ITEM WEEK
OF AUGUST 28

No book except the Bible itself had a greater influence on
the Middle Ages than St. Augustine’s "City of God".
Since medieval Europe was the cradle of today’s Western
civilization, this work is vital for an understanding of our
world and how it came into being. Originally 22 books, this
edition has been skillfully abridged for the reader by
Vernon J. Bourke
.

An animated DVD brings St. Faustina and the Divine Mercy
Chaplet to life for the younger set. Children especially
love this devotion, and after watching the miraculous story
of Our Lord’s appearance to a humble Polish nun, they’ll be
even more eager to recite the Divine Mercy chaplet with
their family and friends.
