Dear Lynden,
The Carmelites and Society of the Little Flower invite you to participate in the St. Therese Feast Day Novenas of Masses celebration!
The solemn nine-day Novenas of Masses will begin September 23rd, and continue until her Feast Day celebration on October 1st.
You and I are beloved by God and His special friend, St. Therese. She has constantly demonstrated her powerful influence on God’s Heart and her intercession is incredible!
Your petitions will once again be woven together this year to create a St. Therese Prayer Banner that will be displayed at the National Shrine here in Darien, Illinois for an entire year and at the Feast Day Mass on October 1st.
Visit here to learn the ways you can participate in our most celebrated Novena of the year.
Just as the Little Flower wanted to "go to the ends of the earth to make God known and loved," the Carmelites fulfill her mission of bringing the light of the Gospel to people throughout the world. So many need to experience the warm sunshine of God’s love.
Your faithful prayers and financial support enable the Carmelites to live and share the Gospel message today as the legacy of St. Therese. That is why we would be honored if you would join in our special Feast Day Celebration on October 1, 2009 by forwarding your petitions so that they will be included and present on the banner at the celebration and Mass.
Surely the Little Flower will be moved to send her shower of roses upon you who honor her birthday into heaven!
Sincerely,
Fr. Bob Colaresi, O.Carm. Director
P.S. Please forward this e-mail to friends and loved ones who might also like to participate in our most celebrated Novenas of Masses. http://www.littleflower.org/offerings/celebrations.
